Connection occurs directly via the OBD port or through the more advanced Tricore mode. The “Flexbox” module extends capabilities to include BDM, Bootloader, JTAG, and AUD mode programming, and the device automatically detects potential connection or communication errors.

With FLEX, you can efficiently configure and modify all control units: engine, transmission, safety systems, and others present in the vehicle being serviced.
- OBD: Direct connection via the OBD port, supporting ISO 15765 (CAN), ISO 99141-2, ISO 14230 (K/L-LINE), Ethernet, SAE J1850 PWM/VPW, SAE J1708 standards.
- BENCH: Access to OBD on the bench or full backup by reading and writing without opening the control unit, supporting Bosch Tricore engine control units and transmission control units.
- BOOT: Supports various modes, including BDM MPC5xx, Bootloader C167, ST10F2xx, TC17xx, Nexus MPC/SPC 5xxx, JTAG Renesas SH705x, SH72xxx, AUD NEC 76F00xx.
- “Flexbox” module: Designed for advanced repair work, allowing programming in BDM, Bootloader, JTAG, and AUD modes.
